Himura Kenji, holding his father's sakabato.  There's just not enough of older Kenji out there - a Kenji that has come into his own, walking in his parent's footsteps but differing from both of them.

I had a sudden urge to draw this while working on character designs and shadow cuts. The image popped in my head so I had to draw it out.  ^-^  I like the way Kenshin's own image is reflected in the blade itself, being his sword and the inheritance he gave Kenji (besides the looks of course!)  Kenji only lacks is the scar - and the cold eyes of a hitokiri.  He is a child of the peaceful era, though he can strive to uphold the principles of his forefathers.

Might develop the sketch further, but I like it this way as well.
